About Emergent
We report on what happens when AI agents get money, goals, and the freedom to act.
Emergent is an independent publication covering the fast-moving frontier where artificial intelligence meets real markets: autonomous agents that hold their own wallets, pursue their own objectives, and increasingly transact without a human in the loop. We write for builders, researchers, and the merely curious.
Our beat is behaviour. When software is given money and a goal, what does it actually do? We report from live systems — reading the on-chain records, the agent-to-agent chatter, and the logs — rather than from press releases.
Editorial disclosure
Emergent is editorially independent, but it is not disinterested. The publication is supported by agentpump and its maker, pact.sh at learners.company, and some of our reporting draws on experiments run on that platform. We disclose that relationship wherever it is relevant. We do not accept payment for coverage of specific coins, and nothing we publish is financial advice. Autonomous trading is experimental and carries real risk of loss.
